Job Title: Seasonal Outdoor Sales Associate

Job Type: Seasonal Full time/Part time

Pay Type: Hourly

Pay Range: $16.00- $20.00

Job Description: Outdoor Sales associates play a crucial role in selling outdoor plant products to our customers and assisting our Pick-up counter associates.  They will be working on site, at our pick-up center maintaining the outdoor sales areas. Responsibilities of Outdoor Sales associates include but are not limited to, maintaining and keeping the outdoor sales area presentable, watering, sales entry, packing, and carry outs. Outdoor sales associates must demonstrate strong customer service skills and engage with our customers, ensuring that they have a positive experience. They will also offer assistance when necessary and generate additional sales.  They will work closely with the Pick-up counter team.  

Requirements:

• Must possess strong communication skills with customers and coworkers.

• Must be able to work effectively independently and as a team player to perform all tasks assigned.

• Must have the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions (i.e. heat, cold, rain)

• Must have the ability to push and pull carts, racks, or flatbeds without accommodation.

• Must be customer service oriented, with a background in customer service or sales.

• Plant knowledge preferred, or have a willingness to learn.

• Must always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

• Bilingual is a plus.
